August – National Alfa Day upcoming editorial
In my last update, I gave a brief update on the AROC road trip to National Alfa Day in August. I’m really pleased to say we’re expecting an editorial in the AROC Driver club magazine. If you attended National Alfa Day, either as part of our convoy trip or separately, it would be great if you could drop me a few words for the article to me via email. What did you enjoy? How was the day overall? Did you see something spectacular or unexpected on the day?
September – AROC at Pembrey Welsh Motorsport & Supercar Festival
AROC had a club stand at the Pembrey circuit with 7 cars on show, with a pair of 916 spiders (Paul & Kai), two Giulia Quads (Keith and Arjan), a stunning 156 GTA (Steve), lovely 4C (Clive) and my 147 GTA. It was great to get some interest in the club and display our cars amongst the Lotus club, BMW club, Porsche club and various local clubs. This event will be included in our magazine report too with photographs. Again, please let me know how you found the event if you attended!
September – Gathering at Unit 7, Llanelli
Thanks to everyone who came along to our new gathering venue at Unit 7, Llanelli. The location was great for members in the South West and a great atmosphere.
In 2026, we will be holding two meets on the first Wednesday of each month, one in the East & one in the West. I can’t be in two places at once (I keep trying to tell my boss that), but will alternate my attendance to see as many members as possible through the year.

AROC Guardian (I need your help!) – Competition
The Alfa Romeo Owners Club has launched a feature – exclusive to Club members – which enables Members to build their own online micro-sites for each of their cars. AROC Guardian allows us all to share downloadable ‘tax discs’ unique to the vehicle.
Visit the Guardian Page and update your records
https://aroc-uk.com/aroc-guardian-launch/
Upload your story & photographs
Let me know once this is done via email
At the end of November, one lucky Guardian who has updated their page will win an Alfa Romeo Owners Club theme surprise!
Why is this important?
The legacy of each Alfa Romeo lies in current ownership and so many vehicles have been lost over the years. The aim of Guardian is to ensure all Alfa Romeo vehicles in the UK have an ongoing ownership story. It also allows members to use the unique QR code to find out details about the vehicle, including technical specifications and ownership history.
