September 2018 Meeting
Our September meeting was the last of our midweek “out and about” meetings and next month we will return to our winter pub based meetings. For this last outdoor meeting, David Duckenfield and Tracey Culver organised an evening pub drive out. A group of eight beautiful Alfas gathered at the St Leonards hotel and were led off by David on a well planned 30 mile drive in the direction of Salisbury. On a pleasant and bright late summer evening, our run took in some beautiful driving roads through Cranborne Chase to eventually arrive at the Grasmere House Hotel in Salisbury. There we were met by more of our members with another five Alfa Romeos. We enjoyed a nice meal in a private room at the hotel accompanied by good conversation and camaraderie.
