November 2019 Meeting
On November 6th we held our photo and video sharing evening at the Elm Tree pub, making use of their upstairs private room. Many thanks to Rob Yuill who returned from West Wilts to the Wessex fold for an evening and brought along his projector. This was also a first outing for our newly acquired Wessex Section projector screen ! We first perused a selection of photos of the year’s Alfa Romeo events and then enjoyed a number of short videos, covering such varied subjects as Jethro Bronner’s Dargle to Dargle trip, the Giulia assembly plant at Cassino, Chris Harris testing the Alfaholics GTA-R290, Enzo Ferrari’s early days with Alfa and, a little off topic, the Convair B-36 bomber.
Thank you again to Rob and thanks to everyone who bought along material, I’m sorry we did not have time to look at everything.
