Member Survey Results – Latest (19 May 2025)

Good afternoon all,
Thank you for everybody who has responded to the survey I sent out last week. I have had a great response and it’s really helpful to see what our Section members want to see moving forward.
I’ll leave the survey open throughout May, but the general views are below, with the intended priority actions over the next few months. I have included the data below in summary format if this is of interest.
Overall vision for next few months: Prioritise regular evening meetings, driving days out, and building relationships with local specialists.
Priority Action: Actively engage with local Alfa Romeo specialists to secure member benefits (discounts, advice, events). Partly done (Networking has started)
Priority Action: Focus on regular weekday evening and weekend morning meetings – Partly done (First evening meeting booked)
Priority Action: Driving days out should be a regular feature, but convoy meets to national events can be less frequent but equally as important to members.
Priority Action: Host weekday meetings within 1 hour’s travel for most members – I am currently mapping out members and intend to have multiple locations to capture as many attendees each quarter as possible Partly done (First evening meeting booked)
Future Action: Introduce a summer/winter event calendar (more frequent in summer, special events in winter).
Future Action: Explore collaboration with neighbouring sections for joint events.
Members prefer email communication (91% responded saying so), so further updates will be shared via this channel. I will keep the Facebook / Section website pages up to date at the same time as 47% of respondents also use these channels.
Please also attend the FRF Show & Shine on Saturday, June 14th https://aroc-uk.com/events/frf-swansea-alfa-romeo-show-shine-14th-june-2025/ – remember to get a ticket (they’re free!) I hope to see as many of you there as possible.
We also have our first evening meeting on Wednesday, June 4th https://aroc-uk.com/events/aroc-south-wales-evening-meeting-wednesday-4-june-2025/
