Giulia Owners Driving Up The Hill (Prescott Italia 2025)

Saturday, 10th of May, a glorious day (weather-wise), very much like last year’s edition, which was the factor that made it a no-brainer for some like-minded Giulia (Type 952) owners to plan their attendance at the 2025 edition of this traditional event organised by the Bugatti Owners’ Club.
The format of the event implies the possibility of taking part at four (non-competitive) hill-climb runs, assuming you’ve specifically signed up for them; these definitely help distinguish Prescott Italia from other events typically centred around static displays, with the chance of having multiple passengers in the car to share the driving experience; so also a family event, with loads of them enjoying the sun and the variety of Italian cars both on display and taking it in turns on the start line for the just over a minute technical drive “in ascent”.
From Lancia Deltas to Fiat 500s, Puntos and 124s, going through Maseratis and Lamborghinis, the Alfa Romeo representatives saw the Giulia line-up, as well as a few 4Cs, a 75 V6, a Brera V6 and a glorious 6C-1750 that just didn’t sit still on the grass, but actually took part at the runs too.
Big shout-out to Alan, Gavin, Philip, Pete and Darren (the uphill fast & smooth drivers), to Bruno, David and Daniel (the uphill fast passengers), to James who helped (thanks to his skills and ingenuity) a Giulia owner to resolve on-site (with limited tools and no spares!) some concerning cooling issues and to Jeremy, not only because he was driving up the hill his Giulia Quadrifoglio, but also because he may be joining the Club soon! 😉
